Case Study 41: Disability service providers

The Royal Commission will hold a public hearing in Sydney from Monday, 11 July 2016 inquire into responses of three disability service providers to allegations of child sexual abuse.

The service providers to be examined are Mater Dei School located in Camden, NSW, Gold Coast Family Support Group (now FSG Australia), The Disability Trust and Interchange Shoalhaven on the NSW south coast.

The hearing will also include a panel to examine the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework under the National Disability Insurance Scheme, in relation to preventing and responding to allegations of child sexual abuse.
